We are a team of creative, innovative story tellers who believe every story must be told. Led by our Production Director, our combined experience of over 30 years extends to areas such as idea development, production, and distribution of motion and still pictures.

We also offer technical assistance and mentorship programs to upcoming filmmakers involved in the end-to-end process of film making. DIL Pictures also takes pride in being the pioneer production house in Kenya to have an in-house legal practitioner to assist clients in negotiating sound contracts that protect their interests and offer guidance on protection of intellectual property relating to the media and entertainment industry.

Pendo

We journey with Maria in a story of her return home after 5 years of incarceration at the Women's Maximum Prison. Her beloved husband, Juma, has taken in another wife - Maria's former maid - Mwelu. Mwelu as the step-mom "Mama wa Kambo" disintegrates the once close-knit family. Maria, a mother of two, also has to look for her daughter Sita, who is caught up in a survival battle. Moreover, Kongo, her angry teenage son, has been taken in by a local children's home during Maria's absence and is getting out of hand as a social misfit.
